How to use this tool
- Choose up to 5 still images, at most 10 MB and 20 megapixels each.
- Set maximum width/height, target KB size and format. Aspect ratio is preserved without upscaling. Dimensions may shrink if reducing quality is insufficient.
- Check actual output size and preview before downloading. Very small targets are not guaranteed; unmet targets are clearly reported. JPG fills transparency with white.
- Re-encoding removes original metadata and can change color appearance. PNG does not respond to quality settings like JPG; size reduction here relies on resizing.
A few useful answers
Do images leave my device?
No. Reading and processing happen in your browser; filenames and contents are not sent to services.
Are animated images and HEIC supported?
No. Only still JPG, PNG and WebP are supported. Use an actual supported format rather than changing a file extension.
