About Dabtt: tools and methodology
Dabtt is an independent platform for everyday calculations, dates, and files. We start with a simple need: finish a small task with a clear result and no unnecessary steps.
How we approach accuracy
We explain the calculation and link official sources where relevant. The VAT calculator separates the base amount, tax, and total, using decimal arithmetic rounded to the nearest halala. When extracting VAT, tax is the difference between the inclusive total and rounded base so the breakdown always adds up.
Useful tools, clear limits
Results are illustrative and do not replace tax or legal advice or an official decision. We are not affiliated with a government entity. Saudi fee and regulatory tools state their scope and sources; their rules do not automatically apply in other countries.
