Image format converter · JPG, PNG and WebP

Convert JPG, PNG and WebP while preserving dimensions, with transparency previews and actual file sizes, without uploading.

Original dimensions are preserved. Up to 10 MB and 20 megapixels per image. JPG uses white; PNG/WebP support transparency. Re-encoding removes metadata and may change quality or increase size. HEIC and animation are unsupported.

Processing stays in your browser. We neither transmit nor store your inputs.

How to use this tool

  1. Choose up to 5 still images, up to 10 MB and 20 megapixels each. HEIC, animation and simply renaming an extension are unsupported.
  2. Choose JPG, PNG or WebP. Dimensions are not reduced and no byte target is applied; use Image compressor for those tasks.
  3. JPG fills transparency with white. PNG/WebP support transparency. JPG/WebP re-encoding can lose quality; output can be larger.
  4. Review previews, dimensions and sizes, then download. Original metadata is removed; color appearance can differ.

A few useful answers

Is PNG-to-JPG conversion lossless?

No. JPG is lossy and appearance may change. Preserving dimensions does not preserve every bit of image information.

Are files or dates transmitted?

No. Processing happens in your browser without uploading or saved history. A download creates a local copy that you choose whether to share.
