Saudi end-of-service benefit calculator · private sector

Estimate Saudi private-sector end-of-service benefits from wage, qualifying service and termination case, with first-five-year and resignation-factor breakdowns.

Editable example

Enter qualifying service after accounting for interruptions. This estimate assumes 12 months/year and 30 days/month; it does not infer legal service from dates. If your contract uses a different basis, do not rely on this result.

45,000.00 SAR
Benefit before termination factor
45,000.00 SAR

End-of-service benefit only, not the complete settlement, termination compensation or leave balance. We do not decide whether Articles 80/87 apply. Excludes civil service, domestic workers and special regimes.

Independent planning estimate, not a government service or proof of entitlement. Calculations stay in your browser. Verify applicable rules and the final amount with the official authority.

How to use this tool

  1. Check that the general Labor Law rules apply and enter the applicable settlement wage. This is not necessarily basic salary alone; Article 86 addresses agreed exclusions of certain variable components.
  2. Enter qualifying years, months and days. The estimate uses 12 months/year and 30 days/month: part-year = months / 12 + days / 360. The tool does not establish legal service or interruptions from contract dates.
  3. Article 84: half a monthly wage per year of the first 5 years, then one monthly wage per later year, including partial service. Example: wage 10,000 and 7 years = 25,000 + 20,000 = 45,000 SAR before the termination factor.
  4. Ordinary resignation under Article 85: below 2 years, 0; 2 through 5 years, one third; over 5 but below 10, two thirds; 10 or more, full. Choose Article 87 or 80 only after confirming applicability. Final entitlement rounds to the nearest halala.

A few useful answers

What do Articles 80 and 87 cover?

Article 80 addresses specified dismissal cases without benefit, subject to conditions and procedures. Article 87 provides full benefit for specified cases including force majeure beyond the worker’s control, or a woman ending her contract within 6 months of marriage or 3 months of childbirth. The tool does not establish applicability or resolve disputes.

Is this my entire final settlement?

No. It excludes leave balance, unpaid wages, termination compensation and notice pay. Civil service, domestic workers and special regimes are excluded, and better contractual entitlements are not reduced. Obtain specialist review for disputed cases or a different service-duration basis.

Are inputs sent to anyone?

No. Calculations run in your browser without storing or sending wage or family details. Copy/print are your choice; the tool URL contains no inputs.
