How to use this tool
- Choose a percentage, fixed amount, or reverse calculation from original and sale prices. Prices use your input currency without conversion or added tax.
- For successive discounts, deduct the first percentage from the original, apply its optional cap, then apply the second rate to the remaining price.
- Example: 1000 with 20% then 10% becomes 720; savings are 280 or 28%, not 30%. Each discount rounds to the nearest 0.01; store rounding may differ.
A few useful answers
How do I find the discount percentage from two prices?
Subtract the sale price from the original, divide the difference by the original and multiply by 100. From 250 to 200, savings are 50 and the discount is 20%. Choose the reverse calculation mode.
Is a discount the same as cashback?
No. This tool reduces the price paid; it does not calculate later cashback conditions, rewards or delivery charges.
Are the prices I enter stored?
No. Processing stays in your browser without uploads or saved history. Download/copy happen only when you choose them. Page URLs contain no inputs.
